Should we be aloud to drink other liquids then water in school? What effects will this have? Will they be good or bad?

  1. I think that we should be aloud to drink liquids other than water in school. It is a very stupid rule that we are not aloud to drink anything in water, and I think that if we are aloud to drink non clear liquids the effects will be good.

  2. I say that students should be permitted to drink items other than clear liquids. The rule about clear liquids was originally established to prevent the staining of carpets if the drink is spilled, and also to prevent students from bringing in beverages containing alcohol. These are both very adequate reasons to prohibit non-clear liquids, but if the drinks are bottled in a clear container with a label, and are evidently what the label claims, the drinks should be permitted. Although allowing students to carry these beverages in school could potentially create a problem. Some students would take advantage of the rule allowing the liquids by refilling the containers with an alcoholic drink that appears the same as what the label says. But who is to say some students are not already bringing in alcohol into school? Vodka is a clear alcohol that I know has been brought into the Fairview High School building by a student who has since graduated. But others students may be doing the same thing with out the staff knowing. So the effects could be bad, but allowing colored drinks would certainly make students happier.
